The star director of Kannada cinema Indrajith Lankesh is taking up a trilingual = Kannada, Telugu and Tamil languages film on life sketch of Shakeela the sexy siren of South India. In the past a film on Silk Smitha was done in Hindi as ‘Dirty Pictures’ = the Kannada version created lot of controversy.

The trials and tribulations of Shakeela life that explains some horrible moments are part of this film. Indrajith Lankesh has acquired permission from Shakeela for this film.

Already talks are on with Hima Kureshi to take up the lead role. The days of Shakeela today are very difficult. The rights for making the film would support her livelihood to some extent say Indrajith Lankesh.
